It will need to be a version in which the utility and/or delight factor is extremely clear from the get. That’s what blew up ChatGPT.

I think it might be worth comparing WEB3 to WEB1 product market fit. The biggest product market fits of WEB1 (permissionless, decentralized protocols) were 1. e-commerce and 2. WEB2 (user generated content) If WEB3 rails can make e-commerce and user generated content as easy as WEB2 we might have more adoption

there's so much to do with a wallet besides purchasing something! i like the idea of delight that @savvyavi pointed out. There was a lot of genuine curiosity and delight - midjourney to ChatGPT. We need a similar recipe!

I believe it’s still stablecoins. Therefore I believe the product actually exists but it needs a few more catalysts to get critical mass. Hearing good things about crypto adoption in developing markets right now.

Well, bank run hasn’t worked so far. I’m guessing an easy-to-use smart contract creation/enforcement tool. Something like better Fiverr or PayPal Goods and Services payments.

Probably as the only technology able to provide reliable verification of "facts" (=consensus between trusted sources) in the coming AI-generated deepfakes tsunami. Pretty soon the web will be unusable even with government-issued ID verification. Expecting a huge need for Snopes but on-chain. (Does it already exist?)
