What would a CMO or ecosystem person actually be doing? Be specific.

I don't think you need a traditional CMO but one that transcends traditional marketing—it’s about championing your mission. As you scale, the challenge isn't to maintain but to amplify the brand loyalty & the authentic movement you've already cultivated (IMHO the envy of any marketer).

A CMO in this context would be someone engaging key stakeholders like channel owners, users and strategic partners but making sure that you and @v don’t lose the connection you have built with this amazing community. You don’t need a traditional CMO but someone who truly grasps the 'magic' that Fracaster embodies.

This person can help attract new users via partnerships, managing media relations both proactively and reactively, internal comms, and even navigating government relations as needed. This could be a fractional role initially, adapting as your needs evolve.
