It’s insane that they’re still making new seasons of the Simpsons. Who are these psychos who are still watching this. It’s like when they discovered that Japanese soldier on an isolated island decades after WWII who thought the war was still going on.

I suspect you may be young. I prolly stopped watching several decades ago, but knowing it's still airing new episodes is a bastion of stability in turbulent times for many folks my age.

I'll never understand the appeal of basic cable slop, including all the animated shows, or the overproduced first responder/cop dramas. I can't remember the last good TV series put out on basic cable.
