Posting shelf. These are primarily the books that I’ve loved too much to give away after reading. For the sake of prudence I tend to give older books back to used bookstores, but there are some I enjoyed too much to part with and they have a permanent little home in the corner of my study. Every time I look at my books somehow it gives a sense of comfort. It’s hard to explain why but it reminds me of all the different worlds that I have dived into in the past as well as the sheer magnitude of things that there are to learn, and which I still need to learn. I plan to go back and re-read many of these in the years to come, and in particular my V.S. Naipaul travelogues and novels which have been a huge influence on me. For a more exhaustive list of my readings and reviews over the past decade they are recorded on Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/13716226-murtaza

And this is some of mine. Usually, I wouldn't say I like to give my books because I like to recheck them and read the underlined sentences.
