I really love the cold — like -20C and piles of snow everywhere. It reminds me of my childhood growing up in Toronto. I’ve lived most of my adult life in New York at this point where it doesn’t typically get cold like that. But lately I’ve been visiting Alberta to see my in-laws and it’s been glorious.

I love a few hours from Toronto, I remember getting lots of snow in the winter as a kid, now we are lucky to get a snowman to last longer than a day

Toronto doesnt get like this anymore. It’s a slushy mess. Makes me miss Montreal where the snow stays on the ground after it falls.

-20C is rare in Ontario these days. Maybe 1-2 cold snaps like that in a season tops.

This is my first winter away from the prairies and I'm not missing the -40 wind-chill at all

I feel like you’re not shoveling your in-laws driveway. 😎
