I really love the cold — like -20C and piles of snow everywhere. It reminds me of my childhood growing up in Toronto. I’ve lived most of my adult life in New York at this point where it doesn’t typically get cold like that. But lately I’ve been visiting Alberta to see my in-laws and it’s been glorious.

Toronto doesn’t get cold like that anymore. Maybe 1 or 2 days a year. And almost no snow. None that lasts, anyway. Alberta will be closer to what you remember.
