This is crazy, some drug company lost a drug this way. I can't remember if it's a rumor or real but supposedly they couldn't manufacture it ever again even building a facility from scratch . Makes chemistry feel more like witchcraft.

Language, culture, technology? It is impractically difficult to try to shift the perspective of an identity thoroughly based on a particular culture. Common cause of ethnocentrism. The Maya offered human hearts as sacrifice, because they thought the world would only continue to exist in exchange for blood.
