we’re currently TB5 on the m4 max mbp, right? is 80gbps the TB6 spec or why/when is the bandwidth increasing?

I also had a 2012 and it was a good machine, for sure.

just think that being able to run a tb4/5 dock through a single port to cover all the functionality (and more) previously afforded by 4+ ports, is pretty cool.

that's me, my 2012 mbp with the dropout battery was one of the best laptops I ever had. I have the new M4 but give me five usb-c ports and an ethernet port.

Just the other day I used the sd card slot for the first time in fifteen years.
