best low-risk usdc yield onchain atm? only aave fits the bill or is ethena worth the additional risk?

I think lockup is for staked ENA, not USDe

but yeah, aave seems like the only battle-tested option even though the yield is “only” 4%

Ethena has a lockup period right? I don’t like that although I did farm for a while. 

AAVE is battle tested even if the yields are a bit lackluster.

there’s a few factors, but smart contract risk can’t be quantified. just depends on how long they’ve been used without an exploit, basically a measure of how lindy they are.

in the case of ethena, it’s more to do with the inherent risks of the protocol design which are very different than aave or yearn, for example.

Is there a quantifiable way to assess risk on this stuff?
