the first few days are especially disorienting because if you've needed a prescription for several years (in my case over 10yr), your eyes have become accustomed to over-compensating for your vision. so when you put on the glasses, at first it actually looks more blurry until your brain relaxes and figures out that it no longer needs to over-compensate. very weird adjustment period that takes around a week, after which everything looks blurry without the glasses (as you'd expect).

My jaw is on the floor. You didnโt get headaches or anything over that decade from strain?

They told me I needed glasses. I wore em for a bit. Then they broke while I was on a trip and I never went back to wearing them lol.

Mine is relatively new. They said it would hit one day after 40 and they were right! But I dislike taking them off to read and putting them on when I need to see something far away like a sign. Super disoriented at the moment.
