Well moderates don’t coalesce because they can’t. We’re not a party. We’re just people who look at each thing individually and vote for whoever or whatever aligns most with our values given the options. Being partisan is easy. And lazy.

I stopped trying to fit in a box. I don’t even consider myself a moderate. Reality is way too complex to have a single dimension spectrum for political. This doesn’t make sense unless you’re dogmatic, and you will adopt all other views from a group.
