Would add that the presence of others has a significant effect on the quality of the work you put in and the results. 

I do weekly shamanic journeys with a group - huge difference in my experience between doing them off a recording vs. in real time with others on zoom.

for me it's a few things:
- the personalization is nice... someone guides you along as opposed to a video where you pace yourself
- a good coach will make space after to reflect, ask questions, and improve form
- the presence of others (even tho your eyes are closed) adds a sense of accountability that i like.

What’s the alpha with a live session? Been practicing after reading/watching stuff, ancient Indian yogic techniques and wim hof as well.
