I found this juxtaposition interesting. New perspective on the process of work that truly means something.

Since I started in crypto 3 years ago, I’ve run dozens of user interviews, trying to crack the crypto adoption funnel. How does someone go from normie → newbie → savvy? Where do they start? One theme has stood out: Everyone has a friend who helps. Someone who walks them through setting up a wallet, depositing funds, and making them feel safe: a trusted guide. For me, that person was my now-husband, who onboarded me to Fortmatic (now magic labs). And when I talk to users today, the story hasn’t changed. ~40% of survey respondents cited trust as the biggest barrier to entry in crypto. And honestly, that’s not surprising given all the rugs, scams, and hacks. Trust is everything. Crypto products should feel like a friend guiding you through the process. How did you get into crypto? Who, or what, helped you take the first step?

Just heard my OpenRank score is low. Guess it’s time to start burning the midnight oil here then.

This week, I built: 1. www.basedirectory.xyz (a work in progress), a comprehensive directory listing consumer apps and projects on Base. 2. I also launched a newsletter that spotlights a Base project every weekday: https://paragraph.xyz/@basedirectory/2-built-on-base-%F0%9F%94%A5

I always find the ‘you’re not the target audience’ retort when folks critique a form of art (films, books) interesting.

We need to reinvent the high modernism of the 19th-20th century (radios, trains, once-daily newspapers etc)
