I really respect Jacek's effort, and I believe he had great intentions, but I don't want to take part in this Airdrop 2 farming. These '100 $DEGEN' comments give me bad Lens-like spammy vibes, and imo they're bad for Farcaster UX. Could we iterate on that concept?

yep, it's in beta and subject to change @jacek is tinkering and the social layer is figuring out how to self-police and shape the drop's direction/ distribution less chaotically if you do have an allocation, consider piling on to "Tip of the Hat" when @0xen announces it (soon)

I'm actively exploring ways to address farming and enhance UX using frames, aiming for a better fit within the Farcaster ecosystem. Additionally, there's an opportunity to enrich Warpcaster by ideally incorporating certain user-desired features on the client side.

A button to tip in $degen would be so much better becuase it wouldn't intrude on comments in other channels. If that's not possible yet, maybe limit the number of times you can tip to like 1-2 per day.

This type of lure might also help notify those grifters and tip beggars. When I see it happen in my feed, my eyes immediately go to the avatar. If it has a + sign, I’m happy. If it doesn’t, I unfollow. 100 $DEGEN

I'm hoping that there will be something to address and nerf or penalize the degen4degen spamming and low effort stuff. I have been quickly changing my approach to only add in a tip at the end of a comment that I would normally leave, on things that I appreciate 69 $degen 🎩 like that
