Try to let someone play Texas Hold’em with fake money or real cash and you’ll see the difference in strategies. 

Going bankrupt in Monopoly is a zero risk strategy. You can just start over the next day.

Interesting, I think most people after playing Monopoly don't think 'Oh its so unfair' but 'I need to buy the best land next time' :)

It inflates the currency in the game so everyone get feel rich

since we're in /contrarians - people literally went and played monopoly. a game where you invest money. that's the only way to play.

I'm not against UBI, but not sure this tracks - the point of Monopoly is to win the game, which you're not going to do just passing GO.

UBI will never be a path to "winning the game" IRL, i.e. achieving whatever top percentile of wealth you want to use.
