in <10 years, traits like being physically attractive, socially connected, and having an audience will have 100x the value of being exceptionally talented, creative, or intelligent. software engineering won't be a viable career in the near future.

I think if Sam Altman is correct about the “1 person $1B company” meta, the largest group impacted is SWEs who currently extract a lot of value for being person 2-100,000. Could see writing code for your own projects > writing code for others.
