in <10 years, traits like being physically attractive, socially connected, and having an audience will have 100x the value of being exceptionally talented, creative, or intelligent. software engineering won't be a viable career in the near future.

interesting. i disagree with the last sentence, but can't tell if i disagree / agree with the first part. i think being exceptionally talented and creative leads to a greater social network (being socially connected + having an audience). in some ways, it is a prereq.
