Moxie doesn’t make the rich richer as much as it incentivizes people to create content that is engaging for rich (high social graph) people. Most rich will never get as much moxie as they give, but what they will (hopefully) get is more engaging content.

In this context I meant more followers rich. Example @ linda saying that now she gets a lot more comments cos of moxie farming. Or Dan says he will just straight up mute some people for irrelevant questions (moxie farming). So moxie does boost the “upper class” accounts on fc more than the average Joe imo

You say that like that's good. Those already at the top have a clout-moat. You said it, everyone is gearing their content to this new elite-class of casters. The opinions of this elite are literally worth more than others. It's the definition of oligarchy. The "content" argument is bunk because quality is subjective, and the ruling class are the only judges. Only hope plebs have is to breakout and join the ruling class. Plus, everyone is focusing their engagement on this top class to try to get moxie trickle-down. Where have we seen experiments in trickle-down economics? And they're still getting actually richer too because all this scrap-hunting by plebs just boosts their moat even further. *halfseriousrant

I don’t feel motivated to create better content after Moxie. If anything, it’s a bit discouraging because I see so many airdrops going to farmers, degens, and those with the time to stay active—not necessarily to those who are creating quality art or video content. It makes me feel like I should just shitpost or make memes instead of focusing on comics and art-based content, because the top accounts don’t seem to appreciate that as much. It also doesn’t help that a lot of my audience rn is new farcaster accounts so that doesn’t help my social score at all even tho I try hard to post good original content

If the rich don’t engage with different levels of creators and only to each other, then yep, it’s going to distribute wealth to the same level. I don’t think this scenario is a blanket scenario for everyone, however. To test the experiment, take the top 20 moxie users, and check their replies. I would venture a guess and say 60% of them don’t interact below their weight class or they use techniques like switching. To low engagement account to reply in threads that started from a high engagement account. It blocks new high quality engagement inadvertently.
