Volume likely has to do with software settings rather than the mic, but I’m sure quality will be better with this

I suggest you to reduce the mic gain a little bit, the bigger the ball bigger the gain, in this last one (like in the image) it will not catch stuff like keyboard, door openings and some other noises, and if you are using OBS you can find good filters on YouTube to make your voice crystal clear 😉
