My daughter had her 3 month neurology checkup today - she’s doing well as far as we can all tell 🩷 She suffered a perinatal stroke 🧠 and spent 2 weeks+ in NICU - it was a very traumatic birth and experience Just thankful she’s ok now. Hearing she has increased risks for issues due to what happened was not easy Health is everything. Everything pales in comparison My heart goes out to those dealing with children with any health or developmental issue - it’s so hard to do. All we want is for our kids to be good.

so cuteeeee!!!! Good for you🥰 My son will be in high school in 6 months and all I want is for him to go to school normally and in good health. I am so thankful for simple everyday life rather than big expectations!!

That is certainly reason for celebration! Health is wealth, as the saying goes. I'm so sorry to hear all of that happened. I can't imagine it. Happy to hear she is doing well. What are the sorts of issues for which she is at an increased risk?

A little warrior 🩷 I can’t even imagine the worry and the stress you and your family had to go through sending love and hugs ! My older one is 9 yo ane youger is 11 months old and I can’t express how things come under a completely different perspective once you have kids! Have a lovely day my friend! 🤗

Congrats on the positive checkup ❤️ and she's very cute! My baby loves to wave also. It is hard with these infant health things because there's so many unknowns for the future, and you want all the checkups to be easy and positive but they're not all like that. But you take things one step at a time, one day at a time and you'll be okay. Best of luck to you all ✌️

That sweet face ☺️so glad everything is looking good. Fellow NICU mom and it's one of the most intense experiences. Seeing such a tiny thing fight so hard is gut wrenching and inspiring. They're such fighters 💪🏽

Hope everything works out for your family. Kids are tougher than we expect so your chances are good. My daughter was born nearly 3 months premature and spent weeks in ICU before we could bring her home. In the early days we had so many scares but now she is 8 years old and doing great at school, I'm thankful for this every day.
