/cryptobanking Monday Updates. # Floating Credit (Floatcoins) The past few months I've been watching RAI-like stablecoins, and while they appear to be working as intended, I've been worried that the rates would continue to remain high and stifle growth. No one really wants to mint new credit at the moment if the long term interest rates remain high. Previous market caps of @open-dollar and @letsgethai haven't returned to pre-Yen unwind levels with these high rates (19% and 32% APY). RAI has also been down only in market cap. For spot holders of $HAI and $OD, the rate increases appear to be locked in for a fairly long time, making both HAI and OD very good treasury assets for protocols and users who want an easy to earn yield. Also a fun one, OHM is **still** going up! There is currently a large spread between OHM price and it's underlying as OHM is now 27% over NAV.

/cryptobanking update With the market's recent moves up, free floating stables have been underbought versus paired liquidity with ETH, pumping up their price. @letsgethai is now trading close to redemption price, and further moves up will likely move the rate controller to negative interest rates, paying you to take credit with various collateral types. We are now nearing the point where the market is literally paying you to lever up, but with the past liquidation events, it's likely there aren't many people left willing to take risk.

Interest rates for @letsgethai are hovering at 18%. Note the pRate is the proportional term, that reflects the distance from target, while the iRate is the "integral" term which reflects how long the price has stayed away from target. It appears new HAI credit hasn't been trending up while it's algorithmic rates have gone up, which may lead to a "credit crunch" if general market prices remain suppressed. One take is that is the market is suggesting now is a good time to leverage up as you're selling into the market as HAI is expensive. I'd like to see HAI dip to 0.95, with the iRate term at 4-5%, locking very nice credit yields.

/cryptobanking update HAI has turned on the rate controller, and the PID is aggressively priced to drive to $1. Rates are hovering between 20-25%. Turns out a smart trade would have been all in $0.85, wait 1 month, and lock in 15% gains + 20% APR. @letsgethai
