After publishing the "dApp Graveyard" post, the idea of minimal permissionless dApps has been on my mind. I tried making one for BasePaint, luckily all the data is already onchain! But seems like our developer ecosystem just gave up on dApps — new devs onboarding today will drawn in Vercel tutorial noise.

I love a sauna. Today, I was doing my sauna routine and someone came in with their bag, left the door open, sat down, realised the door was open, closed the door, sighed, sighed again, sat back, waited 30 seconds, ravenously searched through their bag, found their phone, begun texting (on loud), sighed again, said "oh f***", sighed again, continued texting, sat back, kept sighing, then left the sauna I did not love the sauna today.

I imagine it has to be a tad surprising for constituents in both parties that Trump is (close to?) winning the popular vote; Republicans haven't won the popular vote since 2004 People vote for higher ideals (e.g. "preserve democracy") when they are already comfortable in the status quo Harris campaign was effectively asking for a _promotion_ (VP -> president) based on the last term and turns out majority of the population, i.e. not just the electoral college, vehemently disagrees Wonder whether Democrats would have been better off bringing on a totally new candidate who could point to errors in the Biden Harris administration instead of Harris who had to defend Biden throughout the campaign
