This is a good decision. Preferenxe falsification is a big problem in society and we need to see people's honest views. It would be really cool if Farcaster follows it, by implementing ZK likes. Can probably borrow technology from zupoll.

My bet is that most if not nearly-all users on Farcaster want other users to see when they like their casts.

if a lot of people pay attention to what tweets you like - you become more cautious of what to like - but this indeed only effects <1% of the users I would guess.

Hm… IMO it’s rather social pressure towards conformity

i like people becoming more cautious about what they like; it makes their curation signals more meaningful!
