Founders, what's your take on vacation policy? "Unlimited" moreso means "unlimited within reason", which is ambiguous and often leads employees to take less vacation. Fixed limit that increases with seniority?

An ambiguous policy is never a good policy. I’m a fan of just setting fixed number of days and don’t leave the burden on employees and the managers to guess/negotiate what’s ok.

I liked unlimited (within reason) with clear semi-enforced days off. Limited vacation leads to weird unneeded anxiety around planning. Without minimum vacation time some people just won't stop working
