blows my mind how many people can't teach their dogs basic things like not pulling the leash makes you worried about kids they raise

same goes for parents who let their kids run amok in public spaces, esp playgrounds—yes it's a place for kids to play, but not for kids to terrorize other kids while their parents sit in the corner scrolling their phones

Interesting observation, but I'm not sure that "not pulling the leash" is the most important thing *all* dogs should learn. Our dog mostly is off the leash when I walk him, so it would be a rather useless skill for him. The odd time he is on the leash, he does indeed pull it on occasion, but well, yeah. Who cares?
