What assurance do the American people have that the eugenicist and racist beliefs espoused by the DOGE staffer do not influence decisions on which programs are considered wasteful? I'm all for forgiveness and edgy humor, but those posts were beyond the pale and unacceptable for someone reviewing government programs.

Not the guy in charge of preserving the US dollar's value profiting off selling you the exit ramp. Further: "American patriots can protect themselves from the ever-present threat of cancellation, censorship, debanking, and privacy violations committed by Big Tech and woke corporations" You can't protect me from debanking, when you're in charge of the financial services regulators. You can't protect me from privacy violations, when you're in charge of the NSA.

At first I thought the fragmentation of social media would be a positive thing. But right now I feel like I can choose what reality I want to plug into by choosing the social platform I open in the morning. I'm all about different styles and different kind of content or fresh perspectives and unheard voices. But actually choosing what version of the world you want to interact with feels, well, dystopian. I think we need to have some kind of shared experience that we can all believe is real, otherwise...what happens?
