I slept through this like a baby. I also recently slept through a flood alarm that went off at my parents house. If I am sleeping when disaster hits I will die. 🤗

Texas is out of control with these alerts. I feel too guilty to turn them off but I completely understand why you would. They hit that blast button for ANYTHING.

I think a large part of it is due to the outsized number of Amber Alerts in Texas relative to other states

yeah I turned them off cause they go off everyday. Also Idk if there is any data about if these are actually useful or more like social media posting for the cops
