I’ve been holding a stock for over 7 years. They own a patent to put ads in Ebooks (like in magazines) for freemium book pricing model. They have been trying to monetize it with Amazon but no deal forever. Amazon own every bit of the market power 😀😂

Amazon's market position in Germany is crazy because we have a "Preisbindung", which basically means we have the books for the same price everywhere. It probably saved a lot of small bookstores, but Amazon still has a high market share.

Also check out Libro.fm They have a similar audiobook to Audible but you get to choose a local participating bookstore to support. Plus all the books you own you get to keep, DRM-free
