I mean, I am not even sure it’s a problem. Let’s start there. 😂 I think this is an apocalypse cult on par with climate doomers. It presumes there will never be any positive rate of change ever, over an entire century. I am not sure what I would do but it’s multi factoral problem. I would look at how to address $$ and cultural attitudes Kids are a luxury good and an aspie rant from a bunch of nerds who call themselves live players isn’t going to convince people to give up cushy lifestyles for a baby. To that end factors related to material conditions I hope will self resolve as a factor of declining population and kickstart babies again. Men need to adjust their attitudes towards women. We aren’t as bad as S Korea, but it’s not great. It’s either that or full on subjugate women again which I believe is also possible

I see the parallel w climate both are real issues that don’t look good at all for humanities prospects, both are based on extrapolations that could be wrong but are reasonable, both have doomerism cults tho relatively speaking birthing collapse cult is 1:100 the size but can’t let the doomerism cult get in the way of considering the issue disagree about the luxury good or material argument. We’ve been reproducing in poverty for thousands of years. Euros have tried free childcare, healthcare, college, extended leave and it didn’t make a dent. Needs a belief system. Agree men and women will need to renegotiate relations here on new terms. Return won’t cut it.
