elon being emotionally triggered into paying $50k to a con artist that told him he could dig up dirt on the pedo guy should have been a warning of his impulsive decisions based on misinformation but oh well. i admire that he seemed to want to help at least, as he usually does.

99% of the people championing this way are not rich enough to see no impacts from the Elon plan IMO. It doesn't just mean purging corruption and waste but intentionally tanking the entire economy and they say as much. 

I have trouble reconciling this with the rest of the party's plans. The deficit has never improved under a Republican, ever. 

I would have more respect for everyone endorsing this if they were like FischerKing below and said "I know I will suffer under this idea and that most of us will, but it will be worth it"

I believe Twitter is demonstrably worse under Elon, but if your metric of success is "it still fulfills minimum obligations with less people" I guess it does that.

i think elon can see spacex vs nasa, and understands that the whole gov is bloated & inefficient in the same way. 

it will be carnage at first, but only by the standards of people who like/benefit from the bloat. similar to twitter.
