My dad just made me watch all these epic NYE celebrations from around the world. The huge firework in Nagasaki. Drone shows. Some crazy full building thing in Dubai. And I have never felt more ashamed of my country when at the end of all this he goes “oh well. We have Times Square, I guess”. DRONE SHOW EPIC FOR NYE 2025 OR ELSE!! ENOUGH!!

I grew up watching NYE celebrations from around the world, they televized them all day long. I always found the NYC one the most boring of them all, even back in the 90s

The firework show in Chicago that goes around the river is pretty cool. definitely not as cool as a drone show but a sweet in person experience.
