Need realistic tips for founder & single parent for getting enough sleep. Problem is falling asleep I normally sleep 6ish hours, the past 5 days around 5, this night 4.5. For sure gonna try to take a nap.

I’ll endorse sunlight within 60 min of waking up if possible Biggest thing for me has always been exercise leading to being physically tired leading to sleep. Even if it’s 10 burpees every 15 minutes for the 3 hours before bed can help a lot Also hot shower right before bed to trick body into sleep cooldown

It’s so hot here the last thing I want is a hot shower Sleep was better when the kids had school. I walk the youngest so I didn’t even have to think about it.

So its not that you can't 'fall' asleep, its that the kids are not going to bed and thus you're not getting sleep? so is it actually tips for getting kids to sleep vs yourself?

No I think it was a combi of things: - less active bcoz of WFH & kids not in school - workload - strict body clock: I'm awake at 6:30 no matter what - the idea that parents go to bed after their kids This night was better. I did - morning run - read before bed - if wake up: podcast - kids were quiet when I went to bed
