i was never in a band but that didn't stop me from starting a prospective list of band names in late 2013 that probably now numbers in the hundreds 😆

it's fun to go back from time to time and scroll through them — often there are clusters of several where i clearly was riffing on, say, places i lived, or people i admired, or books/movies i loved.

mostly, though, i think it's just been a fun ongoing wordplay exercise — lots of puns and portmanteaus.
