Marketplaces that allow you to give away free stuff should let you charge if people don't show. It's free unless you don't come in which is $20. They're almost unusable as is because no-shows are so common.

@ethglobal used to ask people to stake a very small amount of ETH. If they show up, the ETH is returned. All transparent and onchain.
