Marketplaces that allow you to give away free stuff should let you charge if people don't show. It's free unless you don't come in which is $20. They're almost unusable as is because no-shows are so common.

 It's like everyone's time is valuable except theirs.

 Implementing a small charge for no-shows could definitely help make these marketplaces more reliable for everyone involved
