users will complain about posting content on a platform that gets engagement primarily from "bots", yet will brag about how many mints their NFT got in a campaign minted primarily by "bots" so bots are good if giving $$, but bad if giving replies?? to quote @geoffgolberg, "the cognitive dissonance is strong here" :)

Yeah, but Ted seems to be speaking to the general hypocrisy of the complaints. If you want to eradicate bots, you want to eradicate, you can't want them to only do the things you want them to. That's also irrational.

That seems borderline batshit crazy to me - the only options are “bots have a practical place in human social systems” or “eradicate all electronic automation”? That’s like saying you either drive your car everywhere you ever go including the 711 across the street or you advocate eliminating cars entirely…
