i think it used to be easier to imagine that
and it's a cultural problem that we can't get behind that

i vividly remember being excited about the future when i was a kid. about how things would be different and more cool. 

but no one has that feeling anymore

It used to be hard for me to imagine it.  I've learned.  Reality is both more malleable than most realize, and more fixed than most hope.

the future is already here, as all the things presently around us first existed in someone's imagination
