I like the way I feel after reading a novel.

My inner dialogue is observant and clear. It has words for things and processes things one after the other.

Stark contrast to when I’m  terminally online. I feel comparably distracted, absent, nonlinear and reactive.

Reminds me I was on a James Michener kick for a while. Loved Poland and especially The Drifters (that one is a departure for him). Could not finish Caribbean tho and kind of moved on after that.

I am so terribly picky when it comes to novels. I can’t remember last time I read one and couldn’t put it down…

A novel Ireland is such a great read but I’m always having trouble finding books similar to this, do you have any recommendations
