why doesn’t the market care about fully on-chain stuff?

Hard to build, worse performance, worse UX, hardly anyone is getting legal trouble for running centralized parts (until tornado cash), governance of onchain stuff isn't really solved so you can still get rugged by a malicious decentralized front-end

cause onchain is most durable compared to alternatives. Closed loop. No dependencies.

ipfs requires p2p network with no native incentive layer. arweave is amazing, but will it be around in 10y?

I don’t think many know and maybe hasnt mattered yet. I’ve had a few convos with collectors over the years that assumed everything was onchain. Even video etc. They were pretty shocked to learn metadata could even be updated.

This should be a reason TO care, right? but the market does not price these nfts accordingly
