Hard to build, worse performance, worse UX, hardly anyone is getting legal trouble for running centralized parts (until tornado cash), governance of onchain stuff isn't really solved so you can still get rugged by a malicious decentralized front-end

(ENS handed it over to cloudflare who were not incentived to make it work, to put it mildly. Then they lost the domain due to mismanagement and Virgil Griffith issues)
