What do you think about Arc "act II"? I'll also reply with my take. https://youtu.be/WIeJF3kL5ng?si=7jGPtQZWNr3LriBm

What do you think of the product category? Is this competing with ChatGPT?

If Arc had a killer mobile app I'd be a lot more excited to use it I see they have one for iOS but it appears to be a companion to their desktop app

They recently released Arc Search which isn't a companion to desktop app. It has the "Browse for me" feature. I haven't used it much since I don't have an iPhone.

One of the examples on the video was book a restaurant for me at one of these three restaurants, and I thought that was great They should have just made a video of examples like those, but I'm not sure how many of those examples exist I can also see Opentable and Resy just building that as a feature

Actions are way more complicated in the web2 era. Google itself has struggled in that department, not for lack of trying. That's why Rabbit is promoting their LAM which is trained to perform actions through UIs instead of APIs.

+1 It has the “that’s really cool, but I don’t actually know how I’d use it” problem for me. I would have wanted to see more specific examples of how to save time. ChatGPT has the same challenge for me with the core job to be done. It’s really only write or code something for me.
