If Arc had a killer mobile app I'd be a lot more excited to use it

I see they have one for iOS but it appears to be a companion to their desktop app

also IIRC this is all built with OpenAI + Anthropic

make sense for browsers to bet on multiple AI providers and AI providers to bet on multiple browser infra companies

Part of me feels like Google (and ChatGPT in the same way) are really powerful products *because* they're just a single search bar on the landing page 

This eliminates cognitive friction in searching the internet 

I tried to watch the video, and I didn't really understand the value of how the Arc browser does that

I think ChatGPT will become less and less relevant as LLMs get more integrated into everything.

This is a good example. It's the LLM integrated into the browser so you don't need to use ChatGPT, not even Perplexity, in some scenarios.

Others will chip away at other ChatGPT use cases and optimize for them.
