to me giving someone my 24/7 location is my way of saying ‘i trust you completely’ i got a few close friends and we all have our location shared constantly, think it’s a nice reminder for me that life doesn’t just pause if i’m not interacting with them (i check v rarely)

My gf and I have our find iPhone thing on. It can be a toxic thing but if you aren’t toxic then it’s a safety feature. My gf and I live in a dangerous city / country. So when she’s out at friends and forgets to say I’ve arrived I check the map and go boom she’s by her friends place nice I can go sleep. Usually it’s for when she’s at work or the shops but we barely check it.

I will not give my real time location to anyone, not necessary and dystopian imo

I think it all depends on the mindset behind it, but in any case, personal space is really important.
