If you are the one making VPNs illegal, you are the bad guy.

How is this up for debate.

there are rarely bad guys. 

there are multiple people doing varying degrees of bad / stupid things. 

musk refusing the court order is bad / stupid because it defies a sovereign nation’s rights. 

Brazil banning VPNs is bad / stupid because it defies a human being’s sovereign rights. 

any of this is only “up for debate” because we keep trying to simplify it into good guy vs bad guy and pick sides like it’s football.

X is within its right of not complying with court orders and the Brazilian government is within its rights to cease X operations in Brazil.

Fines on individual users for trying to access information on X via VPN is censoring your own citizens. The daily fine is 3 years of minimum wages btw.
