Haven't seen a lot of chatter on o1-mini yet, but for me it is the sweet spot between speed and performance. It plowed through quite a few tasks that Claude couldn't handle and response wait times are very reasonable.

Every day I am reminded that I can't access X without paying a huge fine. Most of my Brazilian friends have already forgot about it 🥲 Slowly boiling the frog and taking civil liberties away.

There are 3 components to the X ban in Brazil: 1. X not complying with court orders 2. Court banning X 3. Fining users $10k per day Not making the distinctions makes for very unproductive conversations. It is a slunk dunk that X should be banned it not compliant. That makes it very easy to avoid the other topics.

Today was a sad day for Brazil. We were all blocked from X and if I insist on using via a VPN I am liable to pay 3 years of a minimum wage salary. Grateful for farcaster and to everyone pushing agendas that empowers individuals.

Finally on Farcaster! FYI @dwr.eth and @farcaster, it is very hard to sign for Farcaster in Brazil using Android devices. Google Play refuses payments. 🤷 Any way to get this streamlined? Working on a Frames workshop for the ETH Samba hackathon this weekend.
