Jesse, this already exists. This is exactly what NFTs are. If you want them to be semifungible, use ERC1155. Calling it a coin makes people focus on the chart. Call it an NFT (or rebrand to something else) and people will focus on the content.

coins are 10x better financial primitives than NFTs for doing what we want to do. we can reset the culture.

Focusing on the "financial primitive" aspect is the issue.

Just use ERC1155 open editions. 🤷‍♂️
