I want to give a huge shoutout to @basename service and @jackjack.eth who have been the most based builders from the absolute beginning. they led the way with BNS and have been so collaborative and thoughtful as we transition to basenames. I am so excited to see their next act.

Alongside my amazing co-founders Gabit & Sabit, and our incredible team, we've been on an incredible journey to bring this vision to life. I feel like everyone is talking around what this is. So… to clarify, can someone please tell me: did something bad happen to the .base domains we bought? I’m confused about why ppl are pushing eth.base and why are we not using the .base domains we bought already—please someone tell me. I feel like everyone is talking about the Emperor’s new outfits and all I see is his fat naked butt. Friends, please make it make sense.
