Being who I am, of course, I had to deep dive into the details and I'm glad I did, turns out my favorite Bitcoin wallets (actually none of them) work with this new technology that we'll be using at the conference. And I heard from a mogul 'preparing is caring' and I know we all care about our bags and any opportunity to fatten the degen history books. This year there will be a crypto art marketplace to rival the bazaars of Rome!—at least that's what the floorplan reminded me of when I peeped it yesterday. (Taking every sneak preview I can as PRESS this year!) Many favorite artists are slated to exhibit but I CAN TELL there's a lot more on offer - and you'll want to use that sleek limited edition BOLT card you got at the conference to participate in setting the Guiness Book of world Records buying cool art directly from artists you vibe with, right?? Me too! Amazed to discover so many new (at least new to me!) Bitcoin wallets—and with more functionality than I expected. Definitely arrived laced up.

I am an artist. I’ve been literally making art my entire life. I’ve had professional artist mentors since the 3rd grade, and high level professional musical mentors in the arts prior to that. I’m into art actually is my point. I may not get snobby about it but it means something to me; art is the food of my everyday life and has been as long as I can recall, I make it bc I need it IRL. Miss me with the academic conversations and price points; No, I don’t buy into art bc it’s popular with ppl who don’t even speak to me; that’s a play for suckas, and not at all what collectorhood is about. There’s a lot of art here that I feel nothing from looking at—for art to be valued by me: It has to touch me - and the artist, if they aren’t dead, has to also be someone I’ve met on some level, and like - if the piece is to be in my physical space. Period. If I buy a piece and later discover a problem with the artist, the art loses value for me. So, I take my time now before buying anything physical.
