Feels like that’s a question he should be trying to answer himself. I think there are 2 parts to the answer (1) bitclout pretty much alienated CT, and (2) the overt monetization was an interesting experiment but a complete failure.

Because the value is in the network >>>> than it is the technology. You could probably create a Cosmos based blockchain to replicate DeSo with moderate effort. But you could NOT build an audience/network without literally years of grinding. cc: @dwr.eth

I’m concerned about Deso putting social data on chain - FC Hubs are much more protective (and supports deletion natively, I assume) compared to Deso which nothing can ever really be deleted
