Is a side chain just an alt L1 that wants to hang out with Ethereum? (Genuine question!)

My son just got permabanned from Snapchat. No warning and now he has lost several years of photos and his contact list. Decentralized social just got a convert.

Maiden cast! So super impressed with FC so far. I think Twitter has strong anti network effects that make it worse with scale. Bots, trolls and general morons. I think we could see CT transition to FC. Doesn’t really need more features, just curation of the right people.
